◉ AIRWAVE MONITOR — BROWSER EXTENSION

Runs the receive-side audio monitor as a real extension in Mises (or any Chromium browser that loads extensions). Unlike the bookmarklet, an extension isn't blocked by X's security policy — it auto-reports to the station on its own, no relay tab, no pop-ups. Install once; it wakes up automatically on any X Space.

Step 1 · Download the signed package

⬇ Download airwave-monitor.crx

Use the .crx — it's signed, so Mises installs it as a real extension that stays installed after you restart the browser. (A plain zip gets wiped on restart.)

Only touches x.com audio (read-only) and sends numbers to airwave.hankelsner.tech — nothing else. Extension id: hllfkaddoockdilhgeiogbjepobllkmj

Step 2 · Install in Mises (Android)

  1. Open Mises≡ menuExtensions.
  2. Tap + Install extension / "Load extension" and pick airwave-monitor.crx from your Downloads. (If Mises opened the download itself, just confirm the install prompt.)
  3. Confirm/allow. AIRWAVE Monitor appears in the list — make sure it's enabled. It will now survive restarts.

Fallback if your build won't take the .crx: the zip works too, but you'll have to re-add it after each restart.

Step 3 · Use it

  1. Open your X Space and join it so audio is actually playing in that tab (you hear it; the docked player with the red Leave button is showing).
  2. The ◉ AIRWAVE MON overlay appears in the corner by itself and shows "reporting → station" with live RMS + bands.
  3. That's it — the numbers stream to the operator automatically. Tap the overlay to hide it.

If the overlay says "waiting for Space audio…", you're not in a live, playing Space yet — join one and press play; it grabs the audio within ~2s. It only reports what you actually hear, and never changes the broadcast.
